Churches

It's really important that we are all involved in a local church, as the CU itself isn't a church! If you're not yet in a church we'd suggest going to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church. Check out the link to the right for a few tips on finding a church. This is also really helpful!

Once you are settled, you may want to find a mentor at your church.  Go to the church mentors page for more information, and a list of contacts.

Southampton  is blessed with many churches, and to present you with a list of 40+ churches would just be a bit mind blowing! To make it a bit easier for you we have set out the list of the churches which currently have the most student involvement*, and the other Southampton churches can be found on the Southampton Christian Network's website.

Life Church Southampton

At Life Church we want you to feel really welcome. Our heart is that students get caught up in who we are as a church as we seek to reach the lost in Southampton.

Life is a young and vibrant church with many students and twenties- many having stuck around after graduating from uni here. We're part of the Newfrontiers network of churches, which means we have friends in over 30 nations all working to similar aims.

Why not come and pay us a visit? Grab a U1C or U6C Uni-link bus to Ocean village (just along from Dock Gate Four) and come join us at Harbour Lights Picture House for 10am this Sunday. We'll also be running free student lunches for the first few weeks of term and monthly from then onwards.
