What is Momentum?
In short Momentum is a five day event, aimed at students and those in their twenties. The event has a really strong Christian flavour, with main meetings and a seminar programme that attempt to help us work out how to follow Jesus throughout our whole lives. The point of it all is simple. Many of you have been with us at Soul Survivor throughout your teens. We've got to know some of you, seen you grow up, change and get settled into life. Basically, we like you and want the chance to hang out some more!
Soul Survivor has always been aimed at teenagers, and our primary calling is to inspire, equip and encourage young people to be sold out for Jesus. However, with Momentum we get the chance to take on a few of the tougher questions and spend a bit more time with the bible than we'd be able to with the normal Soul Survivor events. It's about relevance; you guys are older, many of you have left home and have major life questions concerning debt, careers, church, politics and beer. At Momentum we want to be able to have the space to look into these issues, spending time worshipping and learning from each other. Hopefully, you'll enjoy the week as much as we do.

Trip Information
Southampton University Christian Union’s trip to the Momentum Soul Survivor festival 21st—25th of August 2008. We arrive Thurs 21st of August, stay over the bank holiday weekend and leave on the evening of Mon 25th or the morning of the Tues 26th. Costs £79.00 before 20/04/2008, and £87.00 there after. You need to organise your own transportation to the festival which is held at the Bath and West showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset (can get the train to Caste Cary and then taxi, but by car is much easier). You also need to get together with a few other friends to sort out your catering arrangements. Please note you will not be booked on until you have given the organiser a cheque for the full amount made out to “Soul Survivor”.

How do I book?
Download the booking form (click here) and either print it off and fill it in, or email the relevant details to momentum@sucu.org.uk. Then write out a cheque for the full amount and give it to Tristan (address to post it is in the booking form).
