Hello One and All, It's great to see people already chatting on the forum before arriving in Southampton - as a church student worker I'm really looking forward to meeting you all when you get here and to helping you get stuck in with the CU and a local church. If there is anything I can do to help you settle in please give me a shout. I'll be speaking at CU on Fri 10th so you can catch me then, I'll also be on the City Life stand at the CU church fayre (Wed 1st Oct above the bar in the clubs and socs room - you'll find it when you get here) - do come and say hello. Hi guys, glad to see you have chosen the best university and the best city in the country to study! Well kind of anyway. I'm starting second year and will be leading a Hall group at Monte so make sure you come to the social on Tuesday of Freshers week. Don't worry about freshers week, there is loads of CU stuff to get involved in, its not all about alcohol! Paul

Hi just wanted to introduce myself as well! I'm going to be doing English and Spanish and staying in South Hill. I was also a bit worried about Freshers Week and all the talk about getting drunk.
