These are the websites we feel will be the most useful to you.
Bethinking.org:SUCU is part of a wider movement called UCCF (the Univesities and Colleges Christian Fellowship) and this is their own website dedicated to apologetics, please check it out if you have time!
Veritas.org: 'Veritas' is latin for truth. The Veritas is committed to this truth and contains lots of great video resources for you to have a look at. Check out their media section for absolutely tons of talks by world renowned academics about the evidence for God's existence.
Debates
These are links to websites with debates about religion between famous academics. It propably isn't a good idea to use these to aggressively attack your friends' beliefs, or prove how superior you are by showing your friend how badly the atheist loses the debate! Remember that you are trying to win hearts not minds, so act with good grace and listen to these debates to understand the issues, not to beat down your friends.
Fixed-Point.org/thedawkins-lennoxdebate: The Fixed Point foundation sponsored a debate between Richard Dawkins and John Lennox that they show for free on their website. We recommend you check this out.
Nick Pollard Interviews Richard Dawkins: Nick Pollard, who does lots of stuff for the C U, and is the founder of Damaris (see above) interviewed the renowned atheist Richard Dawkins a few years ago.
Apologetics Trusts.
Apologetics trusts are groups of academics who are committed to apologetics in general, their websites will be a treasure trove of information and stuff on all sorts of different topics. We would recommend you look at these if you're just generally interested in apologetics or if you can't find what you're looking for somewhere else.
Damaris.org:An awesome group of people, their website includes lots of discussion questions about current films.
Zactrust.org:The Zacharias trust is another collection of brilliant apologists, many of whom are academics. Tom price and Michael Ramsden, who you may well have heard speak at the C U's carol service or events week are both associates to this trust.
Fixed-point.org:The Fixed Point Foundation sponsor debates between very well recognised speakers on the subject of religion, you can preview many of their debates on this website and order them if you fancy.
http://apologetics.com: Another great trust. Do movie reviews and post articles from famous apologists.
C.S.Lewisinstitute.org: C.S. Lewis was a famous apologist who wrote the Narnia Chronicles as well as many others. His books have been translated into over 30 languages and have sold millions of copies. This website is dedicated to his memory.
ElfResources.com: The Euro Leadership Forum is a joint organisation that takes apologists from all over Europe
Labri.org: L'Abri is French for shelter, this group run retreats which allow people space to consider deep questions. The website includes information and a great section called the Ideas library. Check it out directly here.
Leaderu.com:The Leadership University is an online database fulll of original articles. They provide loads of interesting artcles.
rzim.org: Ravi Zacharias' own website, not as comprehensive as zachtrust.org (see above) but it's great to use to keep up to date with tons of apologetics events as they post news about big apologetics events from all over the world.
Engaging with Culture
These are talks, videos and essays that deal wih the culture of the world around us.
Damaris.org/pollardonfilm:Nick Pollard, who some of you will have seen, reviews movies and discusses their meaning. Seriously interesting if you like movies and want to use them to evangelise.
ChristianHeritage.com: These guys are interested in the UK's heritage as a Christian nation. They try to engage with our history to show people God exists.
Jubilee-centre.org: The Jubilee Centre examine popular culture and have a mission to relate the Gospel to everyday life. They're interested in equipping people with tools to help reform our social, political and economic lives.
licc.org.uk: These guys aim to equip churches and christians to engage with the world around them and help them to understand popular culture.
Klice.co.uk: The Kirby-Laing institute for Christian ethics are interested in how Christian moral values affect us. They try to represent Christian values in the popular sphere.
Social Justice
These websites deal with stuff to do with Christianity in the world of politics and business. Check out the Christian Institute's page. These are the awesome guys who came up with most of the information for this section!
http://www.christian.org.uk/:The Christian Institute Rock, Plain and simple. They are awesome. Aside from helping us to run this section by suggesting almost all of the websites here, they petition Parliament to respect Christian values in the UK and fight for justice for Christians Persecuted for their faith here in the UK.
Knowmore.org: This Website is a database for companies you can search through, to find out the ethical basis of companies
Databases
These are websites designed to be a resource full of stuff from no particular organisation.
Monergeism.com: A personal favourite or ours. These guys make absolutely tons of classic texts available. They probably have an article discussing almost any question you could possibly have.
ApologeticsIndex.org: Pretty self explanatory, check the index for a brief explanation of anything you're curious about.
Afterall.net: Another Great database of stuff. Calls itself an 'online filing cabinet' of articles about faith.
Carm.org:Christian apologetics and research ministry. A website that assesses worldviews examining the logic behind lots of different religions and worldviews.
ChristianSkepticism.blogspot.org: A christian blog. includes web debates
Reformed.org:A centre for reformed theology and apologetics.
Academic
Stuff for the seriously smart; philosophical and scientific articles on Christianity, don't be scared! These websites are great and can be really helpful. Try this section if you're looking for some academic philosophy on Christianity for your course or something like that. Or if you're trying to impress your mates by showing how clever you are, but we know you wouldn't do that...
epsociety.org: The evangelical philosophical society is a group of Christian scholars dedicated to high quality philosophical research.
cse.dmu.ac.uk:G. K. Chesterton's works on the web is a database full of essays and books written by G. K. Chesterton (duh). Born in 1874, G, K, Chesterton was a fantastic academic and author who defended Christianity against some of the most famous atheists of all time, including George Bernard Shaw and H. G. Wells, both of whom he was close friends with! Some of these are totally brilliant pieces of philosophy, others are just hilarious. If you have a sense of humour, we recommend the essay entitled "Cheese."
Ligonier.org: A collection of essays by academics, quite a lot of theology here and stuff to educate you about the historic Christian Faith.
wycliffehall.org.uk: Wycliffe Hall is one of the Oxford Colleges, famous for it's strong Christian tradition. Rico Tice, Nicky Gumbel and N.T. Wright all went here.
Shops
Places that have resources for you to buy. I know we're cheap students but maybe one of you will want to spend money on some good quality apologetics... Possibly.
ImpactApologetics.com: A pretty good quality store for apologetics stuff, including DVDs and books.
Just for Fun
Some of the Apologetics team's favourite stuff. Not particularly good for Apologetics, but sometimes thought-provoking!
elfyourself.com: We'll be amazed if you find a good apologetics use for this, but it is hilarious.
