Church Directory
We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church. All of these churches are worth trying. We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.
Once you are settled, you may want to find a mentor at your church. Go to the mentoring page for more information, and a list of contacts.

St Alban's, Tulip Road, off Burgess Road:
St Alban's was built in 1933 to cover the large "Flowers Estate", and has recently undergone a substantial refurbishment, with a new Community Room, new roof, heating, grounds and much else. Dignified worship is offered in a relaxed style. You can be assured of a warm welcome, and will be made to feel at home.
The Sunday Services are:

- 10:00am - Family Communion (1st Sundays)
- 6.30pm - Evensong
We will be happy to give information on house groups and youth work, and any other aspects of church life in which you might be interested, or to put you in touch with other students who regularly worship with us.
There is a Parish Hall at St Mary's, and a Community Room at St Alban's, both of which are available for regular or occasional hire at very reasonable rates – contact the Parish office for details.
We also need to help meet the needs of the young people of the area who attend Church and those who don't. If anyone has particular gifts in this area, we would be delighted to hear from you.
