Church Directory

We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church.  All of these churches are worth trying.  We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.

Once you are settled, you may want to find a mentor at your church.  Go to the mentoring page for more information, and a list of contacts.

Kings Community Church

Kings Community Church

A very warm welcome awaits you at King’s Community Church, Southampton. We are a large family church on the edge of the city. A charismatic, evangelical church part of the Newfrontiers family of churches, we have two meetings on a Sunday morning at 9am and 11.15am, and run a mini-bus from Glen Eyre and Wessex Lane Halls of Residence to our second meeting. We have great times of worship, powerful Bible preaching and an array of activities for all ages from the youngest children to the older members of society.

At KCC we do not have a designated student work, as we hear from our 50 or so Uni students, that one of the things they love about us as a church is that Uni students are fully integrated into the family life of the church. That said we offer Student Lunches to help get to know people within the church, and to find out a bit more about us, and also run Sunday Nite Live, an evening of worship and teaching for those aged 18-29.

Mid week the church has cell groups that meet in people’s homes to equip, inspire and grow every member of the church. If you want a quiet life then KCC isn’t for you! We run a number of different works on Sundays and throughout the week, working with children and young people, Alpha, luncheon club for the elderly, Parent and Toddler groups, so there are plenty of areas to get your teeth stuck into. We also have a strong passion in working overseas, serving a number of churches across four continents.
