We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church. All of these churches are worth trying. We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.

Life Church Southampton
Students are so welcome at Life Church Southampton. We are a young church based in the centre of the city. We want to reflect the city we’re a part of – that means students have a significant place, because they’re a significant part of the city! We know you’re at a high-impact stage of life where you have both a lot to give and a lot to gain from life in a vibrant church.
We’re a part of the Newfrontiers family of churches, which means we have friends in over 30 nations, all joined in relationship and working to similar aims.
Mission is at the heart of everything we do as a church. Our passion is to see lost people saved and securely built into the kingdom of God. Charles Spurgeon talked about having a ‘church of soul winners’- that is what we’re seeking to be.
We run a group called 18:20s, which exists to integrate students and twenties into the church and to address issues relevant to them. We also encourage all our students to get stuck into one of our Life Groups, which meet in homes across the city, and to be fully involved in our programme of outreach to the city.
The best way to find out what we’re like is to pay us a visit! Catch the U1C or U6C Uni-Link to Harbour Lights Picture House in Ocean Village for 10am this Sunday and you’ll be made very welcome (free lunches in the first few weeks of term!) We’d love to meet you±
