We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church. All of these churches are worth trying. We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.

Riverside Family Church
"With one Heart and Purpose"
Riverside Family Church is a warm and friendly church with a family feel, charismatic in style with a strong emphasis on preaching a teaching biblical truth. We enjoy lively and free worship which is both personal and corporate in spirit and in truth. We meet at the Augustine Centre on Northam Road, with our main service being at 10:30am on Sundays. Students are very welcome and we seek to be supportive of them during their time in Southampton.
There are may areas of church life to get involved in, such as weekly Care Groups, Evangelism, Prophetic and Intercessory groups, Childrens and Youth ministry. There are many opportunities to serve within our fellowship and we actively encourage each and every person to be involved in some area of ministry and so support the family distinctive which is so much a part of our fellowship.
Many students have come to us over the years and today we have quite a number of graduates that have stayed with us and are part and parcel of our church fellowship. We hope that you too will come and pay us a visit.
