Church Directory

We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church.  All of these churches are worth trying.  We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.

Once you are settled, you may want to find a mentor at your church.  Go to the mentoring page for more information, and a list of contacts.

St Michael's Parish

St Michael's Parish

St Michael's:

  • 8am Prayer Book Communion,
  • 10am Sung Eucharist,
  • 6.30pm Evensong.

All Saints:

  • 9am Eucharist / Morning Praise,

St. Nicolas

  • 11.15am Morning Praise / Sung Eucharist

These two churches are welcoming and friendly - and you are bound to be invited to lunch! The two churches are in the same parish, have the same clergy and similar ethos, but are very different in style. St Michael's has a strong musical tradition, with a large robed choir and a 'middle - high' style of worship. All Saints is smaller and more informal.

The clergy are relaxed, accepting of all and have a sense of humour. We welcome people who want to get involved, or people who just want to try us out. Issues of social justice are important to us. Drinking coffee is also important - we are always available to chat to if you need us.

Our vision is to draw people closer to God, and to be drawn closer to God ourselves by others. We believe in a God who encourages us to ask questions, doubt, believe, experiment, laugh, cry, be silent, and most of all live! Come and say hello.
