We think it is really important that you get involved in a local church. All of these churches are worth trying. We'd suggest going to to a few that seem like churches you would want to get involved in, but make sure that you settle in a church quickly, and get involved in service and fellowship at your church.

We are an Anglican Church in the Parish of Fair Oak & Horton Heath, some 6-7 miles North of Southampton. CORE (the 18-30's Home Churches at St. Toms) now exists at 2 locations each week (10-15 attendees each location). We have good Socials - in depth Bible teaching and outreach events also Alt.Worship opportunities!
Sunday worship occurs at 9am (traditional), 10.45am (informal - in 2 locations: school and church) and 7.30pm (Bible-teaching emphasis). We are a church open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit and all that He has to offer.
If you believe a semi-rural parish with a mission field of 10,000 people, a present Church of 350 people and strong relational links with a powerful work of God amongst the poor of Nairobi, Kenya, might be your "spiritual home" while at Uni - please make contact and we would love to help you settle in.
