Just to let you know how its all going in Portswood.. So far its been fantastic, met so many people, handed out so many hot drinks, biscuits, peices of toast, and cups of water.... We have had chances to pray for people, listen to people who want to talk, and tell people about Jesus who want to know. God's glory in Portswood Something really exciting, is that the owner of Sobar was so pleased with what we were doing, he wanted to support us in someway, and so has BROUGHT US 15 HOODIES so that we can be recognised as the inside out team, outside the clubs, he paid and sorted everything out, all we had to do was send our designs for them! the 15 hoodies will be for whoever is on team that week, to go over the top of all your other warm layers! this is so exciting :) so AS OF THIS FIRDAY we will be wearing our brand new hoodies...meaning we will have more authority on the streets, and people can recognise us - and the Gospel can be proclaimed. Praise Jesus thanks to everyone who has been helping out

God is so good - with Angels linning the highstreet of Portswood.... 'I will never leave you or Forsake you' Joshua 1:5 We met loads of new people, many different ages and walks of life outside Portswood church. even met the owner of Sobar...who seems very supportive of our project and is genuinely concerned for the saftey of the students in his club - so please pray for opportunities of working alongside him! Praise God for his Presence in the clubbing scene :) Prayer points: how to expand - lots of new and exciting ideas a commited team passionate for serving people in this way that people come to know Jesus!

Outside the cube, sunday, wednesday, friday and Saturday nights! and it was awesome... firstly for God's provision in fixing the urn, stopping the rain, providing electricity, providing a team to serve, and our rapour with the staff at the cube. secondly, the conversations we had, and the people we met...from christians who hadnt heard much about the CU and wanted to find out more, to people who were interested in asking questions, to people who just wanted a free drink. The thing that stood out for us though, was people knowing about the CU and the presence it had on campus at the forefront of what was going in - which in turn points to Jesus and God's glory on campus accross Freshers week!
