If you are a member of the CU and want to help out with our events, this is the page for you!
We long to have the Christian Union filled with people who really understand what Jesus has done for them, and so want to work together in little groups using common gifts and talents to help share Him with others. We don't all have the same gifts, but God has given us all gifts that he wants us to use for His glory. Let’s make sure CU isn't just about Friday nights!

Text a ToastieText a Toastie is a wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people who are hungry to find out more about what we believe. We work in pairs in response to Jesus commissioning the 72 (Luke 10) and also Matthew 18:20 where it says that “where 2 or more are gathered in my name there I will be”. We have an amazing team made up of expert toastie makers, admin guys and delivery people who are all passionate for evangelism and apologetics. Prayer and intercession are the foundations of it all and are an essential part of connecting with the Father’s will for each heart that we speak to on Wednesday evenings. In Colossians 4:6 it says: "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone". We meet at 7.30pm for prayer and then we go from 8-12. It would be a joy and a blessing to find more people who are thirsty to share the powerful and transformational Gospel of Jesus. This is an event for anyone who has or who want to help with text a toastie. Or if you just want to come along and discuss some tricky questions your friends have asked you. We will basically go though a few common questions and discuss the best way of answering the. You will get fed so then you can come and help out with tat at 8!
