If you are a member of the CU and want to help out with our events, this is the page for you!
We long to have the Christian Union filled with people who really understand what Jesus has done for them, and so want to work together in little groups using common gifts and talents to help share Him with others. We don't all have the same gifts, but God has given us all gifts that he wants us to use for His glory. Let’s make sure CU isn't just about Friday nights!

Welcome
‘Love one another with brotherly affection’ – Romans 12:10 Our aim is to make everyone feel welcome at Unite and outreach events. This goes beyond pointing people in the right direction and giving ‘cheeky winks’ as one member once memorably said, but actively building relationships with people who are either new to CU, or those we don’t know ourselves. Ideally, everyone in the CU should be welcoming, but we have a noticeable team (we wear blue CU t-shirts, or if it’s nippy then CU hoodies) so it makes it easier for anyone to approach us. Contrary to popular myth, one does not have to be a certain personality type (i.e. ridiculously extroverted) to be able to welcome: if you want to love others in a practical way, meet new people and perfect your winning smile, please email welcome@sucu.org.uk or join the facebook group
