Hot Drinks

Hot drinks is basically an opportunity to get the absolutely astoundingly good news of Jesus out to the wider University on a Friday night after our Unite meeting. Our aim is to show the people coming out of the Cube a little bit of what Jesus' love for them is like by giving out fee 'Hot Drinks' (Tea, Coffee and squash type things, but mainly tea) to them, and there's always some people who decide to stop for a while and want to talk about Him a little bit more with us. One of the best things is that we get the chance to pray/worship/study God's Word beforehand for almost as much time as we're out serving drinks, and this always turns out to be an amazing time of preparation as we see God using stuff from that time while out serving.

We meet at the Chaplancy at 11pm, and are outside the front of the SUCU shop from 12pm, and we're normally done by about 2am, but don't feel under pressure to stay the entire time. Bring extra clothes if it's cold. Contact hotdrinks@sucu.org.uk for more info.
