City Life
City Life Church is part of God’s family in Southampton, sharing everyday life around Jesus. We are committed to being a church known for our beliefs and values, rather than our structures and gatherings, with everyone, everywhere, every day, putting these into practice.
As a church family, we don’t meet in one place or at a set time every Sunday, we seek to live out daily, weekly, and monthly ‘rhythms’; restoring our relationships with God, rediscovering the heart of who He really is, and creating time and space for rest in order to draw closer to Him, and from this place actively sharing the love of God and serving those around us.

King's Church
Our vision is to know Jesus and to make Him known. In knowing Jesus, we’re growing deep and personal understanding of Jesus, His values and His practices. This changes how we live daily in our city, how we treat each other, how we grow in relationship with others, how we work as a whole church in the city. To make Jesus known means we are called out of the building into our community, to embody Jesus’ message to those around us.
King’s Church is a welcoming community of Jesus followers in the north of the city. Our church family is broad - we welcome all ages from 0 to ‘too old to mention’, and we value the cross pollination and encouragement that being part of God’s family brings. Our experience is that God’s plan for us is much more than simply meetings, or talking about God - that His call for us is to live as citizens of the Kingdom of God - a matter of much more than just talk.
King's Church
King's Church Centre, 414 Coxford Rd, Southampton, SO16 5LL
- Sundays, 10:45am: Morning Service
We recognise there are loads of churches who do amazing groups for students - and we encourage students to opt into these if they are looking for connection with other students. We don’t run groups specifically for students, but offer the chance to be a part of a life group with others, to get involved with our social action groups, youth projects and worship life.

Portswood Church
A community seeking to grow UP towards God, being transformed in partnership with the Holy Spirit, IN deep loving relationships with each other and reaching OUT into the world with the good news of Christ and His Kingdom.
Portswood Church was planted almost 100 years ago, by a bunch of mission minded radical Brethren! They quickly adapted their serviced to embrace the new families attending and to remove any barriers that might prevent them fully encountering God. Today we are the legacy of them, now an independent church, still outward looking, still welcoming to one and all, which makes for a diverse church in age, background and stages of faith.

Portswood Church
Homes
- Tues/Wed/Thurs: Evening service
The students we’ve had join us in our faith journey, have always been taken into our hearts! Many have chosen to stay after graduation and others have gone on to fresh opportunities to be used by God in amazing ways! They’ve all been looking for a church, they would be seen as an individual, not a student passing through. They’ve been willing to use their gifts in our smallish church, (120) finding their place in the body of Christ. We offer 1-1 mentorship for those who would like it and a family link scheme which gives you the opportunity to be part of a family, whilst away at uni. If this resonates with you, then come check us out on a Sunday and get linked with a small group.
